Rally for Presumptive Cancer @ Central Tuesday 17th Nov.

On Tuesday morning at 10 am Dwight Ball and the Liberals will be at Central Fire Station to announce that if elected they will enact Presumptive Cancer Legislation for firefighters.

As part of the negotiations Local 1075 have agreed to endorse Mr. Ball and the Liberals in the upcoming election. Until this announcement becomes public on Tuesday we need to keep this to ourselves, we would appreciate if you refrain from mention this on social media until it is officially announced on Tuesday.

At this announcement we want to have the maximum number of firefighters we can get as a show of solidarity (similar to the protest we had at Workers Comp during the last election) Because we are making a partisan political endorsement it is very important that we NOT represent ourselves as the St. John’s Regional Fire Department so uniforms are out, if you have anything identifying you as a member of Local 1075 please wear that.
